Dedalus Helps Companies Migrate to the Cloud with Security and Ease Using New Relic

Dedalus is a São Paulo–based cloud services broker founded in 1989 that helps companies migrate and manage applications on AWS. As customers moved to the cloud, Dedalus found that infrastructure-only monitoring wasn’t enough—teams needed real-time, application-level visibility to diagnose performance issues, scale reliably, and strengthen security against attacks and legacy bugs.

By formalizing a partnership with New Relic and using New Relic APM and Servers alongside AWS, Dedalus implemented end-to-end monitoring for pre-, during-, and post-migration stages and automated much of the management work. The result: faster, typically six-week migrations, the ability to manage hundreds of systems without large headcount increases, rapid fixes (including a decades-old bug solved in minutes), and improved security and scalability (e.g., scaling from 100 to 2,000 servers to thwart attacks for about $5,000), driving cost savings and business growth.
