A New Relic Case Study
BeenVerified is a New York–based startup that aggregates public records into easy-to-use web and mobile apps. With a small engineering team and an aggressive release cadence (about 2.5 deployments per day), the company initially had almost no centralized visibility into site health—engineers were overwhelmed by exception emails and had to check individual machines to diagnose performance problems.
BeenVerified adopted New Relic in 2008 to gain near–real-time metrics, transaction traces, and a central dashboard with plugins for services like Redis and Memcached. The platform became their first line of defense, cutting time spent hunting vague issues, enabling confident, frequent deployments, and helping drive response times below 100 ms while boosting overall productivity and reducing operational anxiety.
