AWS Deep Dive Fleet Complete Uses AWS, New Relic to Keep Data Rolling

Fleet Complete, a Toronto-based telematics provider serving 500,000+ subscribers and 35,000 businesses worldwide, faced a surge of data from rapid growth and acquisitions that its on-premises systems could no longer handle. The company needed to migrate its data ingestion and processing pipeline to a massively scalable cloud platform while avoiding business disruption and maintaining real-time delivery of mission-critical connected-vehicle data.

Fleet Complete moved key workloads to AWS and deployed New Relic APM and Infrastructure for unified, end-to-end visibility across applications, Kubernetes, and hosts. Within a year they had shifted the majority of their environment to the cloud, accelerated releases from monthly to weekly, gained rapid root-cause diagnostics and cost visibility, and improved availability and performance of their connected-vehicle platform.
