Metrocare, the largest behavioral health provider in North Texas offering behavioral, primary and social services, faced fragmented patient records and communication gaps—some primary care information remained in hard‑copy charts—making integrated, whole‑person care difficult across multiple providers and settings.

Partnering with Netsmart, Metrocare implemented CarePOV Medical Note for Psychiatry and Primary Care within the myAvatar EHR, giving clinicians a single face sheet with shared vitals, medications, labs, problems and notes plus automatic CPT coding. The result: streamlined workflows, fewer duplicate tests, improved medication checks and treatment adherence, and the ability to deliver coordinated whole‑person care on one shared platform.
