Indosat Selects NEC and Netcracker for End-to-End OSS Transformation

Indosat Ooredoo, one of Indonesia’s largest telecommunications operators, needed a large-scale OSS transformation to improve business agility and support new enterprise services. The operator faced a fragmented set of platforms that increased maintenance costs and slowed service delivery, limiting insight into customer- and network-facing operations and hindering faster time-to-market.

NEC and Netcracker will deploy the Netcracker Framework—including resource inventory, discovery & reconciliation, planning & design, service order management, activation, service and product information management, service inventory and problem management—along with professional services and data migration. The solution is expected to reduce capex and opex by enabling more efficient use of assets and lower maintenance costs, accelerate service rollout, improve root-cause resolution and capacity planning, and drive better customer experience, revenue growth and market-share expansion.
