Etisalat, a leading Middle East telecom serving more than 140 million customers, sought to accelerate B2B revenue growth and speed time-to-market for enterprise services by virtualizing customer premises equipment (vCPE) as part of its Sahaab cloud and virtualization program. The challenge was to deliver higher‑value, on‑demand services to large and small businesses faster and at lower cost while simplifying VNF onboarding and service management.
Etisalat selected NEC/Netcracker’s full‑stack Network‑as‑a‑Service (NaaS)—including self‑service portals, service orchestration, MANO and pre‑integrated VNFs from the Ecosystem 2.0 marketplace—to deploy enterprise vCPE. The solution enabled rapid VNF and service onboarding, launched security and other value‑added services with fast time‑to‑market, and gave enterprise customers secure, on‑demand control of services, positioning Etisalat to open new revenue streams and evolve into a next‑generation digital service provider.
