América Móvil Selects NEC and Netcracker to Lead OSS Consolidation and Transformation Across All LATAM Operators

América Móvil, one of the world’s largest mobile network operators, selected NEC and Netcracker to consolidate and standardize OSS platforms across six Latin American operators (Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico). The challenge was to replace fragmented legacy inventory and OSS systems to accelerate time-to-market, improve business agility and deliver a consistent, superior customer experience across the region.

NEC and Netcracker delivered a single, pre‑integrated OSS on the Netcracker Framework—covering resource and service inventory, discovery & reconciliation, outside plant, service order and asset management, and network planning—plus data migration and integration services. The consolidated platform automates network and service fulfillment, streamlines ordering, enables automated service decomposition and creates a centralized, up‑to‑date inventory to maximize network utilization and speed deployments across AMX’s Latin American operations.
