A Netcall Case Study
Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust, the main provider of acute and specialist care services in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, started an outpatient transformation programme to optimise referrals and give patients more control and convenience around appointments. It worked with Netcall and implemented Patient Hub to support those goals.
With Netcall’s Patient Hub, RCHT created a single point of referral entry that signposted patients to face-to-face, telephone, video, and advice-and-guidance routes, while also giving patients access to relevant information online. The Trust reports that 70% now access appointments through the patient portal, DNA rates are down 56%, and 1,677 appointments per month are saved from wastage.
