Charlie Bigham’s, one of the UK’s most successful independent food brands, needed a process mapping and improvement solution as it expanded and sought to maximise efficiency. The B Corp-verified company now has over 800 staff, two kitchen locations, and more than 50 dishes supplied to leading supermarkets across the UK.
Charlie Bigham’s implemented Netcall’s Liberty Spark to document, centralise and connect its processes across the business. The system helped identify inefficient manual steps, including ingredient weighing and paper-based records, and supported a move to tablet-based reporting that saved 35 hours each week, or 262 working days each year. Netcall also helped Charlie Bigham’s improve collaboration, support Cyber Essentials Plus certification, and prepare for further gains through a warehouse management system.
