The Royal Cornwall Hospital NHS Trust trials LAMP testing with Liberty Create

Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust employed 5,000 people across three hospitals and needed a way to record LAMP test results in addition to the lateral flow tests already tracked in a Microsoft 365-based system. When the Trust was chosen as a Phase 2 trial site for the LAMP test, it had only a few weeks to launch, so it turned to Netcall and Liberty Create.

Netcall worked with the Trust to build a new app in 14 days, and the C19 App was online before the LAMP programme went live. The system gave staff and management real-time test results, supported barcode-based sample tracking, and allowed users to submit results from any device through a secure portal. By the time the app was in use, 4,620 users were registered, and the Trust reported increased recording of lateral flow tests because the app made submissions easier.
