Manual data entry and transfer between systems caused delays, errors and inefficiencies, and staff were spending significant time on low-value work. Netcall’s Liberty RPA was introduced to address these repetitive tasks.
With Netcall’s Liberty RPA, the council automated temporary event notices, Revenues and Benefits report checking, water supply test result entry and duplicate record checks. The automation saved up to an hour each day in one process, cut a 45-minute application task to fully automated, and helped achieve 100% accuracy in data entry and identification. South Hams District Council also reported faster service delivery, fewer complaints and fewer phone calls, and around 80% of people choosing online when given the option.
