A Netcall Case Study
St Helens Borough Council worked with Netcall to ease workloads, speed up delivery for citizens, and support staff while operating under budget constraints and limited resources. The council wanted to show what robotic process automation could do without replacing people, starting with a pilot for its Social Care Team.
Netcall’s Liberty RPA was used to automate case notes in children’s social care, update rent increase data, and run an early-morning IT system check. The council said the bots were easy to use with browser-based services and legacy systems, and that they had already broken even while using only 2 of their 4 RPA bots. The automation improved the speed and accuracy of updates, freed staff from mundane tasks, and helped protect children by making visit notes available in near real time.
