Case Study: ITV achieves operational excellence and 10-second incident alerts with Netcall's Create low-code platform

A Netcall Case Study

Preview of the ITV Case Study

Creating a low-code application for managing competition and voting campaigns

ITV, the UK’s largest commercial television broadcaster, faced increasing digital disruption and competition as viewers consume content across more devices and services. To maintain world-class quality and improve campaign and incident management—especially for sponsored competitions and live voting—ITV needed a way to drive operational excellence and engage nearly 100 business users in process improvement. Netcall’s low-code platform, Create (Liberty Create), was chosen to address this challenge.

Netcall implemented Create to train business users as citizen developers and build a single low-code platform for campaign workflows, bespoke forms and incident management. The team produced a working prototype in two days and rolled out the final solution within weeks, cutting on-air incident alert times to 10 seconds, removing fragile manual emails, creating fully traceable campaign records, and making departments largely self-sufficient from IT. Netcall’s Create is now standardised in Broadcast Distribution and has measurably sped response times and accelerated continuous improvement at ITV.
