Northeast Housing Agency, a city government housing agency, needed to improve data quality and reduce an unacceptably high rate of returned mail that was disrupting inspection scheduling, tenant notifications, and property records. Neopost USA implemented the data quality software to clean up mailing records and improve processing efficiency. The results included a lower return-mail rate, less re-processing and postal waste, and a drop in “tenant not at home” rates for inspections to 12% from 20% or higher previously, while also extending resident notification time from two weeks to three weeks.
