AAA Western & Central New York is a not‑for‑profit membership organization serving about 860,000 members through 16 offices, providing automotive, travel, insurance and financial services. In 2011 aging on‑site servers and a major electrical‑grid incident exposed reliability and performance risks in its data center, prompting leadership to pursue an outsourced, more resilient IT solution.
The club moved its systems to Navisite’s NaviCloud platform and relied on Spectrum Enterprise’s VPLS network to connect all offices, gaining always‑on managed cloud hosting, diverse network routes and integrated security.
