How ChowNow improved data quality throughout their MarTech stack

ChowNow, which helps independent restaurants offer branded online ordering through their own websites, needed a better way to manage customer data across its growing MarTech stack. As the number of data sources increased, the team found its customer information was becoming duplicative, inaccurate, and siloed, which made it harder for product and marketing teams to use and increased engineering effort.

ChowNow implemented mParticle Data Master as its customer data platform across iOS, Android, and web for both Marketplace and Direct products. With mParticle, the team centralized data planning, validated events against a shared plan, and sent high-quality data to marketing, analytics, and Amazon S3 without use-case-specific engineering work, which improved data quality, experimentation, personalization, and real-time use cases like trigger-based messaging.
