Postmates, an urban logistics platform, wanted to move beyond basic analytics to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Their existing tools showed what customers did but weren’t integrated across the journey, preventing fast, data-driven experiments. To fix this, Postmates partnered with mParticle and installed mParticle’s SDK to collect event-level mobile and web data and feed it into their analytics stack.

Using mParticle to connect customer-level data across more than a dozen systems and building an experimentation framework on mParticle’s API, Postmates tested product and marketing hypotheses and measured outcomes like order volume, customer satisfaction, and repeat orders. mParticle’s platform made experimentation core to the growth team, reducing decision risk and producing measurable impact — including a 20% lift in courier registration completions.
