AkzoNobel, the global paint and coatings manufacturer with 35,000 employees across 150 countries, needed a secure, centralized way to help employees find information and complete basic tasks across disparate systems in their language of choice. The company also wanted safe access to ChatGPT without risking exposure of sensitive data, while limiting employees to a single experience in Microsoft Teams rather than multiple chatbots.

Using Moveworks and its Copilot, Xara, AkzoNobel deployed enterprise search, automation, and secure ChatGPT access within Microsoft Teams, integrated with Azure AD SSO, SharePoint, and ServiceNow. The rollout delivered strong results in just eight months: 25,282 active users, 72% enterprise adoption, 233,145 knowledge base articles served, 49,323 issues supported, 1,600+ service requests, a 40-50% reduction in MTTR, and an 87% CSAT score.
