DPG Media rolls out Mopinion software across all online news brands

DPG Media, the largest media company in the Netherlands and Flanders with numerous newspapers, radio and digital brands, faced a rapid shift from print to digital and needed clearer insight into readers’ online behavior after launching a new digital platform. Previously using multiple feedback tools that created fragmented dashboards, the organisation wanted a single, scalable solution to understand why users visited, how they used content, and why some customers churned.

DPG rolled out Mopinion across web and mobile, combining passive (permanent feedback buttons) and active (behaviour-triggered) forms to centralise responses in one overview. Insights feed the product backlog, led to targeted fixes (for example, optimizing the tablet PDF viewer), expanded the programme from four brands to all news brands, and enabled weekly cross‑department “user moments” to keep teams aligned with real customer needs.
