Devitt Insurance, a UK broker operating since 1936, sells motor, car, van, home and specialist business policies online and places strong emphasis on reliability and a simple user experience. As more customers begin quotes via comparison sites or online forms, Devitt faced high drop-out rates: long, detailed quote forms and unclear friction points meant visitors often left before completing a purchase.

Devitt implemented Mopinion’s customer feedback analytics and exit-feedback forms to capture real-time reasons for abandonment (including an option to request a callback), collect daily feedback, and automate follow-up actions. The insight revealed concrete pain points used in Devitt’s wider CRO work, enabling fixes that reconnected and converted customers who would otherwise have left — improving online conversion and reducing manual investigation — and prompting plans to extend the software’s use to further boost completion rates.
