MoneyTap (a Freo brand) is India’s first app-based credit line serving millions of customers and faced a need to streamline high-volume, multi-team communications across email, push, and SMS while reducing large post-registration drop-offs. To solve this, MoneyTap partnered with MoEngage and adopted its Email Suite, Analytics, Flows and RFM Segmentation to centralize customer attributes, orchestrate journeys, and choose the right channels for targeted outreach.
MoEngage delivered a 360° insights-led engagement platform with flow-based nudges, smart triggers, email program management, frequency capping and unified dashboards for marketing, operations and collections. The result: a record 30% average open rate versus a 23% industry benchmark, 5.4% average stickiness with 31,000 total conversions (campaigns run Mar–May 2021), improved onboarding completion and consolidated governance across teams.
