Magenta Telekom, Austria’s second-largest telecom with over 5 million customers, needed to move from a one-dimensional offline engagement model to a customer-centric, multichannel digital strategy centered on its app to grow digital channels and reduce its carbon footprint. To accomplish this, Magenta Telekom onboarded MoEngage’s insights-led customer engagement platform to better understand customer behavior and personalize interactions.
Using MoEngage, Magenta Telekom ran onboarding campaigns via SMS and social, built journey campaigns with Flows and push notifications, and used DPM for personalized product and content recommendations, delivering hyper-personalized in-app experiences and a frictionless purchase journey. The MoEngage-driven approach produced clear results: 1.5x growth in app penetration, a 400% increase in add-on activations, and a 140% rise in tariff-change conversions.
