Luxstay, a Ho Chi Minh City–based short-term rental platform, faced a crowded home-sharing market and lacked the behavioral analysis and cross‑channel continuity needed for personalized, consistent user engagement—shortcomings that were exacerbated by COVID‑19. To address this, Luxstay selected MoEngage and its engagement platform (including smart segmentation, personalization, user‑path analysis, Smart Triggers, Flows and Connectors) to better understand users and unify messaging across push, email, in‑app and web channels.
Using MoEngage, Luxstay segmented users into four travel archetypes, personalized campaigns (full‑name, localized content, curated property lists), and automated targeted flows and retargeting connectors. The results were significant: conversions grew 5X, monthly active users rose 1.8X, engagement rate increased 60%, web‑push subscriptions jumped 7X, and email CTRs improved by 41%, demonstrating MoEngage’s measurable impact on Luxstay’s engagement and growth.
