Lifestyle, part of the Landmark Group and one of India’s leading fashion retailers, faced low active usage on its mobile app—over 1 million installs but only ~15K active users—along with high drop-offs after search and add-to-cart that hurt conversions and ROI. To address this, Lifestyle selected MoEngage and its engagement platform (including MoEngage Flows, RFM segmentation and connectors) to build a purchase-funnel–based, event-driven engagement strategy.
Using MoEngage, Lifestyle implemented funnel segmentation, event-based omnichannel flows (push, email, SMS) and Facebook retargeting with personalized coupons and smart triggers to re-engage drop-offs. The campaign cut conversion time to about 15 minutes (vs. 14 hours–2 days), delivered a 4X boost in conversions from Add-to-Cart to Payment Complete, reduced cart abandonment by 20% and improved retention by 30%, while increasing monthly active users and sessions.
