VieON, DatVietVAC’s streaming service launched in 2020, faced the dual challenge of growing monthly active users and upselling paid subscriptions while expanding its predominantly female audience to include more male sports viewers. To do this, VieON needed more relevant, personalized communication across the customer lifecycle and turned to MoEngage’s insights-led customer engagement platform to help automate and personalize outreach.
Using MoEngage, VieON implemented omnichannel, event-triggered campaigns (push, in-app, email, Facebook retargeting) powered by Dynamic Product Messaging, content APIs and RFM segmentation to deliver personalized recommendations and workflows. The MoEngage solution drove dramatic impact: event-triggered conversions of 63–67%, a 7–8% uplift from targeted messaging, 3X increase in MAUs (iOS ~190K → 760K; Android ~153K → 750K; web ~420K → 1.5M), 2X DAU growth and a 5X rise in paid subscribers.
