Tickertape, a content and investment-information platform with 3 million MAUs, 5M+ downloads and 120,000+ paying members, needed to boost feature discovery, retention, stickiness and time spent in-app by educating retail investors and nudging key funnel events (signup, upgrade, link broker). To solve fragmented contextual learning and in-app engagement gaps, Tickertape partnered with MoEngage and looked to leverage MoEngage’s HTML in-app capability, segmentation, Push Amplification® and Flows.
MoEngage implemented contextual HTML in-app messages targeted to specific screens and app fragments, enabling personalized, timely nudges that promoted product features and funnel actions. As a result, Tickertape’s in‑app CTR jumped to ~10.8% (up from ~2% in quoted results and well above the 8.3% industry benchmark) and campaign visibility rose to ~60% versus 20–30% for event-triggered campaigns—improving engagement, feature discovery and overall retention using MoEngage.
