POPS Worldwide, Southeast Asia’s leading digital entertainment company, needed to boost product stickiness and grow its DAU:MAU ratio as more Gen Z users turned to the platform after the pandemic. To do this, POPS partnered with MoEngage and used MoEngage’s engagement tools (Flows, Nativ in-app messages, Email suite, Mobile Push, and Push Amplification Plus) to capture preferences, rework UX, and deliver personalized content recommendations across channels.
Using MoEngage’s platform, POPS ran coordinated social campaigns, onboarding journeys, redesigned content experiences, and personalized push/in-app/email recommendations — plus monthly new releases — to eliminate discovery friction and drive consumption. The results: an 18.92% lift in DAU:MAU (Android +20.21%, iOS +13.42%), 47% increase in DAU, 64% increase in MAU, 46% more video plays, push delivery up to 80%, and strong in-app engagement metrics — all enabled by MoEngage.
