How Policybazaar Adopted a Proactive Approach to Engagement Using MoEngage

Policybazaar, one of India’s largest online insurance marketplaces, needed a data-driven way to improve customer engagement and drive renewals (annual premium equivalent, APE) across diverse customer cohorts. Seeking advanced marketing automation and analytics, Policybazaar partnered with MoEngage to bring customer journey orchestration, mobile push notifications and stylized push templates into its engagement stack.

MoEngage implemented finely orchestrated Flows (18–19 live journeys), a custom email setup with middleware and SMTP delivery, and Push Amplification® Plus to scale push as a channel. The results: 86% delivery rates, a 3.4% push clickthrough rate, 21% conversion rate on Flow-driven campaigns, and a 100% year‑over‑year increase in APE, demonstrating clear uplift in engagement and revenue from MoEngage’s platform.
