Orcas is a curriculum-based, 1:1 personalized e-learning and tutoring platform operating in Egypt, the UAE and KSA. Facing very low counts of relevant/pre-vetted leads, no automated customer journeys, time-intensive manual campaigns, and reliance on mass email with limited analytics, Orcas partnered with MoEngage to modernize its engagement stack using Flows, push, email and SMS automation.
MoEngage implemented Customer Journey Orchestration (Flows), multichannel campaigns (Email, Mobile Push, SMS), custom segmentation and RFM analytics, and behavioral/funnel insights to automate targeted outreach and revive dormant users. The result: a 30–35% reduction in cost per lead, a 343% uptick in new customers and 284% increase in conversions between January–February 2023, push CTRs up to 4.46–8.16% on campaigns, and measurable lead contributions from personalized email (7% in Jan) and SMS (4.5%).
