How Batelco Leveraged MoEngage’s Capabilities to Personalize Engagement and Increase App Users by 35%

Batelco, part of Beyon and the leading telecommunications provider in Bahrain, faced fragmented customer interaction data across email, SMS and push channels that limited personalization and retention efforts. To unify communications and deliver event-led, personalized journeys, Batelco partnered with MoEngage and onboarded its omnichannel marketing platform and engagement capabilities.

MoEngage helped Batelco build omnichannel, event-triggered journeys using Mobile Push, Email, SMS, RFM segmentation, customer insights/analytics, Best Time to Send and geolocation triggers, improving targeting and operational efficiency. The results included a 35% increase in mobile app users, a 77% rise in average MAUs, 18% higher DAUs, 10% lift in stickiness, a 241% uplift in push CTR and a 58.3% uplift in email open rates, while also saving resource time and boosting retention and conversions.
