CoinDCX Grow Weekly Active Users to 80% using User Path Analysis

CoinDCX, India’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, faced high drop-offs during onboarding and later reactivation due to generic, non-personalized engagement from their previous automation platform. The marketing team needed an omnichannel, analytics-driven solution to analyze user behavior, close gaps in the onboarding flow (notably KYC and bank verification), and deliver timely, relevant communications. They selected MoEngage’s customer engagement platform, leveraging its Advanced Analytics, User Path Finder, custom segmentation and Flows to rebuild onboarding and reactivation journeys.

Using MoEngage, CoinDCX implemented user-path analysis, segment-based Smart-triggered Flows and omnichannel nudges (push, email, web push) to guide users through verification, KYC and first purchase within a 14-day goal. The results were significant: weekly active users grew by 80%, KYC verification rose by 10%, bank verification improved to 95%, turnaround time improved 18x (36 hrs → 2 hrs), and CTRs increased by 16%, demonstrating MoEngage’s measurable impact on engagement and conversion.
