Alodokter, Indonesia’s leading healthcare super app, needed to boost engagement, reduce churn and increase active users as many customers only use the app when ill. To improve push notification CTRs and conversion rates—especially during the pandemic when timely outreach mattered—Alodokter partnered with MoEngage and adopted its AI-based campaign optimization (Sherpa) and Flows campaign capabilities.

MoEngage implemented smart segmentation, journey-based Flows, Sherpa content optimization and rigorous A/B testing to personalize push campaigns and re-engage users. The result: a 45% uplift in engagement, a 60% increase in MAU, 6–16% CTR gains for activation Flows, 5–10% CTR lift for premium conversions, 19%/40% CTR improvement on an e-pharmacy survey (iOS/Android), a 10–12% funnel conversion boost and retention of more than 50% of installed users.
