Alaska Airlines partnered with Moderne Communications to deliver a VIP experience that would reward frequent flyers, encourage donations of frequent flyer miles to families in need, and broaden awareness of the airline’s economic and philanthropic impact in Seattle. Moderne Communications provided turnkey event production and social media technology for the Russell Wilson VIP event.

Moderne Communications transformed an Alaska Airlines hangar into an intimate setting for 1,400 VIPs and community leaders, producing a run-of-show that included a live Q&A with Russell Wilson (Alaska Airlines spokesperson and Chief Football Officer) and a live Twitter wall using #AKRussellShow. The event generated 280,000+ impressions and resulted in more than 4 million miles donated to Seattle Children’s Hospital, Make‑A‑Wish Foundation and Red Cross.
