Phoenix Recycling, a paper recycling company, wanted to eliminate the inefficiency and cost of paper-based field processes. The company needed a way to collect service information electronically, capture signatures, scan barcodes, display driver data, email receipts, and sync everything back to its business system, and it chose MobileFrame’s mobile application platform to replace its manual paperwork.

Using MobileFrame on rugged Motorola MC65 handhelds, Phoenix Recycling deployed a paperless field service app that integrated with its business system and automated receipt, billing, and service tracking workflows. The result was the elimination of more than 85,000 sheets of paper, over 2 hours of clerical work and 1 hour of dispatcher time per day, 15% fewer truck miles, and an additional 18 minutes of billable time per truck per day, while improving driver accountability and customer visibility.
