Hunt Brothers Pizza, one of the largest distributors of fresh dough pizza to convenience stores across 27 states, needed a better direct store delivery solution. Their existing mobile system lacked signature capture and had limited printing capabilities, and they also wanted more control over application changes without paying for constant vendor updates. They selected MobileFrame and its MobileFrame Business Suite to support their DSD operations.

MobileFrame implemented a platform-based solution on Intermec CN70 handhelds and PB51 printers, adding signature capture, photo annotation, barcode scanning, printing, and integration with Microsoft Dynamics GP. The result was greater visibility into inventory at stores and on trucks, better control over shrinkage, faster access to data through quick synchronization, and end-of-day reports with customer signatures for accounting. Hunt Brothers Pizza also expanded use of the MobileFrame platform for store surveys and truck mileage tracking.
