Klook is a fast-growing online travel and activities platform (founded 2014) offering over 100,000 experiences across 300+ destinations and attracting 30 million monthly visitors. Despite strong product UX, the team lacked clear, quantitative visibility into product performance and needed a way to form data-driven hypotheses, run experiments, and act on results to improve bookings and retention.

After implementing Mixpanel, Klook used Funnels and A/B tests to confirm that its activity recommendation tool and a “revisit viewed trip” flow drove bookings and conversions, making small UI tweaks that boosted bookings. Mixpanel-driven messaging—an email notifying users of earned credits—raised awareness of rewards and increased long-term retention. Over three years, Mixpanel has given Klook the ongoing insights to optimize the mobile app and support planned market expansion.
