The team needed self-serve analytics to quickly understand user behavior and optimize the signup flow to increase completion rates.
Using Mixpanel’s self-serve analytics and A/B testing, Gett uncovered weak points in its onboarding—mandatory fields cut completion, so they experimented instead by splitting email and name into two screens. This change doubled the number of users who provided name and email without hurting funnel conversion, saved analysts’ time, became part of daily product workflows, and was later rolled out to the driver app.
