After launch, Head of Product Tim Bigarelli found the company lacked easy product insights for business reporting and needed data to validate retention hypotheses and measure promotional campaign effectiveness.
Using Mixpanel, the team consolidated key metrics in Dashboards, grouped users by promotion with Cohorts, and used Signal to discover behaviors tied to higher retention (for example, how many workouts or use of the “Li 1” feature predict long-term membership). With those insights they send targeted push notifications to prompt workouts and recipe use, enabling them to measure campaign performance and raise monthly retention.
