Xmind, a leading mind-mapping platform based in Hong Kong, needed better insight into its growing user journeys as it expanded from a product-led tool into a broader workspace with AI and collaboration features. Its existing analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Firebase, couldn’t fully capture complex behavior before and after login or support more effective commercialization and marketing optimization, so Xmind turned to Mixpanel.
Mixpanel implemented unified user tracking with user ID combination, cohorts, and UTM analysis to connect pre-login and post-login behavior in one profile and clarify which campaigns drove conversions. As a result, Xmind streamlined data management in one tool and saw a 5x increase in conversion rate, while gaining clearer end-to-end user insights to guide future campaigns and product decisions.
