Using Mixpanel’s Funnels and Explore features, HoneyBook’s product team tracked user behavior, identified drop-off points, A/B tested UI changes, and emphasized actions that led to proposals as the final onboarding step. Those targeted, incremental improvements raised onboarding completion from 18% to 24% in two months—a 33% increase—enabling more users to complete onboarding and send proposals, and setting the team up to focus next on retention.
