Mixpanel’s design team produced a visual case study for the Data Driven Conference 2013 website, aiming to showcase the process behind the design. The primary challenge was to build a single‑page site that remained easy to scan and digest, worked across screen sizes, and highlighted the best parts of the project without losing detail.
They started with paper ideation, created a content-first top‑level framework, and chose a color scheme aligned with Mixpanel plus the Dosis typeface for a futuristic feel. The result is a responsive, metro‑style modular layout with subtle interactions that’s cohesive with the brand, improves readability, and clearly communicates the design process.
