The Dixon Hotel - Customer Case Study

The Dixon Hotel, a newly refurbished Grade II‑listed, 193‑room property in London operated by Dominvs Group under Marriott’s Autograph Collection, needed a modern, fully integrated communications platform that matched its four‑star standards. The hotel faced constraints from thick, protected walls and a tight timeline—its system had to be live within a couple of weeks for the grand opening—while also improving guest service and streamlining staff operations.

Mitel delivered MiVoice Business with 5320 handsets and MiVoice Border Gateway, integrated with the hotel’s PMS, fire alarm system and Wi‑Fi DECT phones. Deployed in two weeks, the solution centralized voice, messaging, mobility, presence and collaboration, enabled secure remote working, supported faster guest service through PMS data, improved safety with alarm integration and increased overall resiliency and operational efficiency.
