Robinson Legal is a Sydney-based law firm specialising in commercial law, property and commercial litigation. Facing an expiring rental agreement and annual line, rental and call costs exceeding AUS $36,000 — plus growing hidden mobile charges and no integration between mobile devices and office phones — the firm sought a replacement system that would support collaboration and allow staff to work seamlessly inside and outside the office.

The firm deployed a Mitel MiVoice A400 solution with 30 Mitel 6739i SIP phones, voicemail, 8 mobile extensions with Mitel Mobile Clients and 14 Outlook Connectors, integrated with existing SoftLog billing. The weekend cutover delivered IVR, voicemail-to-email, least-cost routing and IP routing for remote users, producing significant reductions in call, line and mobile costs, an estimated ROI of around six months, and the ability for senior partners to work from two other sites with full office functionality.
