Swisher Hygiene, a leading North American provider of commercial hygiene products and services with over 30,000 customers and more than 100 remote locations, needed to keep voice and data systems running reliably across its distributed operations. The move to VoIP and a Mitel UC platform delivered cost and feature benefits but introduced complexity — multiple regional ISPs and varied connection types (DSL, cable, T1) made it hard to pinpoint issues quickly, manage many components and guarantee the uptime critical to Swisher’s customer service.

ComRes deployed Mitel’s MarWatch monitoring solution to provide secure remote access, 24/7 performance and availability monitoring, and real-time alerts. The result was faster isolation of faults to the correct location or ISP, fewer costly onsite visits, reduced support costs and improved confidence in system reliability — enabling proactive fixes, better uptime and a clear return on investment.
