Spokane Teachers Credit Union (STCU), the Inland Northwest’s largest credit union with more than 600 employees serving 170,000 members across 20 branches, needed to replace an aging telephony system with a scalable, easy-to-manage solution that would improve contact-center functionality, reporting and remote-work capabilities while delivering strong value to members.
STCU deployed Mitel’s unified communications—VoIP, Enterprise Contact Center and IP phones—and completed organization-wide training and rollout in eight months. The new system enabled in-house reporting and custom call flows, reduced hold times with a callback feature, lowered total cost of ownership, increased contact-center capacity and productivity without adding staff, and made branch and remote-user management far easier.
