Sonnen, a global energy storage company with about 250 employees (50 across North America), needed a mobile-first, plug-and-play communications system to unite staff in Los Angeles, Atlanta and remote locations like Toronto and Hawaii. With no existing business phone system, Sonnen sought a solution to streamline communications among sales, back-office support, manufacturing, field technicians and inbound call teams, and required features such as click-to-dial and Salesforce integration.

Sonnen implemented Mitel’s MiCloud Office (including MiTeam) and Mitel Business Analytics to provide mobile voice, video, chat, app integrations and intelligent call routing. The deployment increased internal collaboration, kept field and remote teams connected, enabled faster outreach via click-to-dial, revealed training opportunities through analytics, and reduced time on service calls—improving overall customer support and operational efficiency.
