Silver Cloud Hotels, a Bellevue-based boutique chain that develops, owns and manages its properties, needed to modernize and future-proof its communications across multiple locations — including a convention-focused property at Point Ruston — after using legacy Mitel systems since 1999. The company wanted a seamless upgrade that would support centralized reservations, integrate with property management systems, and provide reliable internal communications across diverse departments like convention services, banquets and spa.
Working with long-time partner TRI-TEC Communications, Silver Cloud upgraded from the SX-200 to the Mitel 3300 Gateway Controller and deployed the MiVoice Business all-IP solution, including a multi-tiered Mitel InAttend auto attendant and integrated voicemail. The result was streamlined administration, improved guest and staff communications, an all-IP infrastructure at Point Ruston, and a scalable platform that supports centralized reservation capabilities and ongoing property rollouts.
