Plexus Law, a defendant law firm with around 1,000 staff across multiple sites, was running a legacy telephony platform sized for far more users, making it costly to maintain and lacking the flexibility and features needed for modern working. Receptionists struggled with call handling, remote and flexible working were limited, and call recording was spread across disparate systems, slowing operations and hindering collaboration.
Mitel, with partner Charterhouse Voice & Data, migrated Plexus Law from ISDN to a SIP-based MiVoice Business solution (MiVoice 6920 handsets) and deployed MiCollab, MiContact Center and centralized MiVoice call recording for 900+ users across six locations in a two‑week rollout. The new platform delivered a receptionist console for faster transfers, improved conferencing and presence for remote working, direct routing to the right teams, centralized recording and stronger resilience — boosting productivity and simplifying management.
