NHS Grampian - Customer Case Study

NHS Grampian, which provides health and social care across Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray for over 500,000 people, was running Mitel Enterprise Manager on unsupported Windows 2008 servers and lacked the day-to-day visibility its four‑person telecoms team needed. Increased call volumes during the COVID pandemic and a move from analog to IP phones made it essential to monitor trunk usage and license consumption more effectively across 96 sites and 16,000 extensions.

NHS Grampian deployed Mitel Performance Analytics (MPA), gaining immediate alerts, per‑number drilldowns and colour‑coded trunk and license usage dashboards. MPA improved fault finding, helped identify and resolve maxed‑out lines, supported contact centre load‑balancing during upgrades, and shifted the team from reactive firefighting to faster problem detection, simplified management and better use of IT resources.
