Mitel unified communications and mobile applications help CHERVON achieve international growth objectives

CHERVON is a China‑based manufacturer of power tools with more than 5,000 employees and products sold in 65 countries. As the company expanded its manufacturing facilities and international sales, it needed a cost‑effective, flexible communications platform to support global collaboration—particularly between China and its largest market, North America—and to replace aging telephony infrastructure.

CHERVON deployed a virtualised Mitel unified communications system and mobile apps at its new Nanjing factory (400 extensions) with MPLS and SIP trunking to ensure QoS and easy remote management. The rollout reduced international call costs, simplified administration and operational overhead, improved domestic and international communication, boosted productivity for travelling staff via mobile extensions, and provided a scalable platform for doubling IP users and consolidating systems as the company continues to grow.
